Ryan Patrick Wines’ tasting room is open seven days a week (hours: Sun.-Fri. 11am to 5:30pm and Sat. 11am-6:30pm). It features Ryan Patrick Wines’ full line, as well as tasting room exclusive wines, and is located in the charming community of Leavenworth, WA.
Ryan Patrick is known for letting the grapes speak for themselves, with natural winemaking techniques that don’t change the inherent nature of the grape. The wine is also made artisanally in small batches. The winery offers everyday drinking wines as well as a Reserve line that boasts an impressive line of 90-point wines.
Ryan Patrick’s everyday wines, most notably the Redhead Red, Rosé, and Naked Chardonnay, are award winning too, with our Naked Chardonnay historically picking up a Double Gold at the Seattle Wine Awards.
The Reserve line is special: a Reserve Chardonnay, a Rock Island Red and a Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon all out-perform their price points. The 2012 Rock Island Red and the 2013 Reserve Chardonnay received 90 points from the Wine Enthusiast, while the 2010 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon received 93 points. Most recently, the 2013 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon received Gold at the Cascadia Wine Competition and our 2015 Rosé received “Best Buy” from Wine Enthusiast.
“From a warm vintage, this aromatic offering has notes of candy corn, corn silk, pear and tropical fruit. It’s full bodied with sweet fruit flavors that have a creamy feel and lead to a lingering finish.” — S.S. (3/1/2015)
