Ryan Patrick is known for letting the grapes speak for themselves, with natural winemaking techniques that don’t change the inherent nature of the grape. The wine is also made artisanally in small batches. The winery offers everyday drinking wines as well as a Reserve line that boasts an impressive line of 90-point wines.
Ryan Patrick’s everyday wines, most notably the Redhead Red, Rosé, and Naked Chardonnay, are award winning too, with our Naked Chardonnay historically picking up a Double Gold at the Seattle Wine Awards.
The Reserve line is special: a Rock Island Chardonnay, a Rock Island Red and a Reserve Syrah all out-perform their price points. The 2015 Rock Island Red received 94 points from the Savor Northwest Wine Awards, while our 2015 Rock Island Chardonnay received 91 points from the San Francisco International Wine Competition. Most recently, the 2015 Reserve Syrah received Gold at the Wine Press North West Wine Competition and our Rosé received 90 points from the James Suckling Report.
